FINANCE MANAGER
About the role
Are you an experienced finance professional ready to take on a strategic leadership role across multiple businesses? Our group of companies, comprising Homefort, Gasly, GasFlo, and Citygas, is seeking a competent, detail-oriented, and results-driven Finance Manager to oversee and coordinate the financial operations of the group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring sound financial management, maintaining accurate financial records, strengthening financial controls, and providing strategic financial insights to support business growth and profitability across all four companies. Responsibilities
* Oversee the financial operations and accounting activities across the group of companies. * Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, budgets, and financial reports. * Monitor cash flow, revenue, expenditure, and working capital across all business units. * Ensure accurate financial records, proper documentation, and timely financial reporting. * Develop and implement effective financial controls and procedures to minimise financial risks. * Monitor company expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and improve financial efficiency. * Supervise financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. * Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, statutory requirements, and financial reporting standards. * Track outstanding payments, customer debts, and financial obligations across the group. * Provide management with financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic decision-making. * Coordinate financial activities with the relevant departments and management teams across the group.
Requirements
* A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. * Relevant professional certification, such as ICAN, ACCA, or an equivalent qualification, is an advantage. * Proven experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar role. * Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls. * Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools. * Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills. * High levels of integrity, accountability, attention to detail, and professionalism. * Ability to manage financial operations across multiple companies and work effectively with senior management.
